Blazing Teens 3 real player?

after the Blazing Teens 3 animated series, here comes the real life version.
it seems to me they're using real chinese players this time round instead of television artists?

while we're on the topic of Blazing Teens, i found out Auldey Blazing Teens is also facing bootlegging problems in China. during my trip to ZhuHai, China, i came across a whole lot of bootleg Auldey Blazing Teens yoyo, yes, copies of Auldey yoyos. makers duplicate yoyos from the Blazing Teens series.
Bootleg Luminous. Bootleg Photon, Photon was known as a bootleg YYJ Synergy yoyo.
i've got to say, eversince Takuto Luo Yi Cheng started working for Auldey, their stuff have become better, other than the fact that most of them all utilize the hubstack system, the shape and stuff are pretty original now, Luminous for one, was a "L4", not a bad yoyo seriously. maybe its time for them to prove themselves?

New China yoyo maker

taken from 91yoyo forum, the maker is YongJun i suppose, but the brand name is 炫溜e族, which unfortunately i have no idea how to translate... sorry about that.
name of the yoyo is 雷火烈豹, which translate to... Thunder Fire Violent Leopard? something like that. shared by Walter from C3, i think itd inspired by the YYF Protostar? look at the dome cap.
but its been long since someone produce a plastic eh? Chinese players/makers have been making metal ones. no specs though.

Adegle Comet (Iskandar Shah Signature yoyo)

Adegle Comet, Adegle's newest product and Iskandar Shah's signature yoyo.
when i first tried Iskandar's prototype, i didn't fancy it that much, i felt the edges were sharp, but when i got this sample, it felt different, is it just me, or i just grown to get used to it?
The Adegle Comet comes in a YoYoJoker-ish packaging. i kinda like it.
engravings design and pattern is pretty fresh to me, but this runs of engravings feels rougher than the previous few Adegles when touched. however, it doesn't affect the play, it still grinds. The Comet has a slight H-profile, rim weighted, and smooth, uses o-ring size response, not pads. unique stepped hub design.
like i mentioned, i didn't fancy it at first, but grown to like it, Lin-Kai may have tune the shape a little, or it could be due to the machining process that makes the difference.
reps tried, horizontal seems very well done with the Comet, stable, solid.
mine uses a flat bearing, but it handles backspin very well, its that smooth, it spins real long, it grinds like mentioned although the engraving feels rough.
lacerations, front/side style and stuff are no problem, i like to add that i personally feel the axle system is pretty precised, took apart, screw it back, smoothness. as you guys may know some pretty high-end yoyos are real good, but when took apart and screwed back, you can't actually do it smoothly due to the bearing seat or axle seat not in alignment, or the tolerance not very precised. but this one is good. its very firm. Iskandar abuse his prototypes pretty bad practicing his 5A, and its still smooth when i tried it awhile ago for 1A. no vibes, no wobs.
some may need awhile to get use to holding it though. and return on a hard throw/power spin may hurt a little, technique guys.

many should have tried this yoyo already, but if you haven't look out for me to try it.
videos soon hopefully!
also, as of now, there's still one blue and one silver Adegle Comet available at IshiYoYoStore now at 148SGD if you would like to grab it.

EJ2011 Prelims

Qualifying in 1st, making 5A look as easy as drinking water, you have the usual.

Last years Japan Nationals Runner Up breezes into finals. No jumping here but I here he's coming to AP. Y'all better start practicing.

Also a notable freestyle from the guy that popularised the slack whip and looping style regens, Kenji Eto. I hope 9th is enough to qualify. Can't wait for his 3 min.

Update: Rocking some of the most complex string tricks around, Iizuka takes pole position in 1A.

Jun has been on the 2A radar for a while now, known for having some pretty sick tricks. Nice to see him do well here.

2A is being uploaded right now. Check the usual(yama18) for those.

YoYoJoker - Stratos & Stratos Another

 saw these at SPINGEAR Blog.
its a pair of new yoyos from YoYoJoker.
one's the Stratos, the other, the Stratos Another, i don't know if its the actual name of the yoyo as its what it seems to be through translation. there's something special about these yoyos, something about the axis thingy. look at the 3rd picture, and you'll probably kinda get what they meant.
i personally find it pretty interesting. the silver yoyos are of prototype stage, the purple ones below, i believe should be production stage. i know nothing more about these, hopefully there'll be clearer explanation somewhere about them.

MikeMont:
"Hey friends, just wanted to share this with you, we've got the 2011 design of the BassBoost ready to be produced. Our machinist will be making a run of 25 of these here in the next few weeks. This will be the last run of raw yo-yo's we make, the funds from this run will go towards beadblasting and anodizing the next run as well as prototyping 2 new designs."
