What to expect:

The finish on the hubstacked version is a little more grind friendly. It also has a touch wider gap. Weight rings do not require precision installation, however a popsicle stick may be handy if you want to insert them flush or remove them. Stock pads are currently Kentaro pads but a new silicone pad is in development for this yo-yo (and other coming YoYoFactory products and to be sold seperately @ YoYoNation).

a little info about YYF Superstar production

For those considering buying the YYF Superstar, and think colors are very important to them, please read this, i think it does help a little.

Every color/finish/art is limited to 100 pieces.
I believe quite a few people would like the Gold/Red combinations, or rather just Gold OR Red... but unfortunately Red and Gold are sold out at all US based stores with no restocks coming. This batch of Blue will also not be restocked after these are gone.
YYF Ben would also like to add some superstars have had very tight fitting hubstacks and if you like to frequently change that may be problematic for you.
The next run will have a relaxed hubstack fit and will be shipping in 2 weeks(check with the stores when they'll have it up).
At some point there were said to be some Superstar with painted white rims, but for those who wants one, Ben wrote:
"considering we will not be selling any with painted rims you might be holding out for a while..."

Lastly, i believe everyone who have played a G5+ find the Superstar similar to it.
I too feel they're very much alike. so here are the specs if it helps.

Due to schedule constraint during the 3 days, we have to limit the number of teams allowed per country. The number of teams allowed depends on the number of players representing your country in AP. This can seen as an incentive if you have more players coming.
Hopefully the players from your country can hold time trials during the club meetings and form the teams before coming to Singapore.
We are open to suggestions and ideas. Let us know if there is anything you wish to add.
More details of another new category - "AP Beat It! Throwdown" will be announced soon.

Buzzons are in my opinion one of the best non-metal yoyos around. they were pretty cheap when they first made their debut, about the price range of a FHZ... but after they upgrade to using SPRs, things were different. i personally prefers the first batch of the Element Xs... newer players looking for cheaper range non metals? pray that Buzzon come back for good.
ofcuz you still got the FHZs.

this is just a graphic, no actual model of it.

i also came across these pictures, supposingly produce in 2005 dec, as written on the last image... judging from the name, Diroc, i'm guessing its from AnY. even the pads that its using looks like the one at AnY's. but this protoype was produce in Dec2005, its been more than 2 & half year... will it make it to the market?
