3Yo3 Bassline
although its just for fun, but it already shows that Landon's interested in making metal some day, or am i the only one that think this way? but heck it does not matter! here comes the CNC machined 3Yo3 Bassline!
Landon Balk:
My first metal, (6061 aluminum) and my first non-hand-made (CNC) yoyo as well. Here's the lowdown:
56.43mm dia
41.10mm wide
4.11mm gap
C bearing (.5x.25x.1875), stainless precleaned. Same as all the other 3yo3's
66.4g
Flow-Groove response, 1drop silicone stickers are in place in the pictures for testing, will most likely come w/ flowable.
Finish is probably the tried & true soda blasting, and then anodized, followed with some sweet laser engraving.
Story on the name- 3yo3 (named after the Roland TB-303 *Bass Line* synth)
I had help in the CAD drawing stage by non other than Ernie Kaiser, he touched up the drawing so it would weigh what it does now.
