Moscow winter greatly narrows the daily round of things one can do in his/her free time, but the Winter Skilltoys Festival «AERO-YO Fest» is here to show and prove you that there are things that worth leaving your warm, cozy bed and internet surfing behind.

During the AERO-YO Fest the public will be introduced to the most stylish youth activities, which will never depend on the weather: ASTROJAX, KENDAMA, DIABOLO, JUGGLING, SPEEDCUBING, PENSPINNING, CUPSTACKING, FOOTBAG, FINGERBOARDING, YO-YO and lots of other cool stuff!

The 5th anniversary Russian Yo-Yo Contest which finalizes the season of the official Russian Yo-Yo contests is the most important event of the Winter Skilltoys Festival “AERO-YO Fest”.

During 2010 more than 40 events involving yo-yoing, including 11 official contests were held in different regions of Russia. The winners became the champions of their native cities, towns and regions and they are now coming to Moscow to compete in the finals of the Russian Yo-Yo Contest. The winner will take the title of the best Russian yo-yo player in 2010! During the finals, the performance of the Champions will play a crucial part in forming the yo-yo rating of the Cities – that will show us what region is the most advanced in promoting the yo-yo culture in Russia.

Alongside with the Champions, Victor Gravitskiy, the winner of the Russian Yo-Yo Contest in 2009 and the participant of the European Yo-Yo Contest 2010, where he took the 14th place, will also compete in the finals.

The rest 18 participants are the players, who will manage to show the best result in the qualifications.

AERO-YO will reward the 2010 Russian Champion with the trip to Europe where the winner will represent the Russian Federation in the European Yo-Yo Contest 2011.

And, last but not least! Special guests of the Winter Skilltoys Festival “AERO-YO Fest” are:
- Guinnes record holder, repeated Yo-Yo Champion of Australia, the inventor of the “Cold Fusion” yo-yo trick – Ben McPhee.
- Professional yo-yo player from USA. World and US National Champion of 2007 (5A division), winner of many more regional and open contests – Tyler Severance.
- World yo-yo champion of 2009 (3A division), repeated prize winner and champion of different yo-yo contests in 1A and 3A divisions since 2005 – Kentaro Kimura.
- Yo-yo Champion of England in 2010 (1A division), champion of Hungary and prize winner of many regional and open yo-yo contests – Krisztian Kaluzsa with the best yo-yo girl (according to the European yo-yo contest 2010), silver medalist of the England yo-yo contest 2010 in 1A division – Corli du Toit.

The Festival includes SKILLTOYS competitions, table games and table Hockey tournaments and the contest of Magicians.
