Jazz-Yo x Yo.CATS Regulus

this is the latest yoyo from Jazz-Yo, the maker who produce the Shield and Saturn,
in collaboration with Yo.Cats, they have the Regulus.
one thing that Jazz-Yo kept mentioning to me is the stainless steel built-in weight rings,
which i think are pretty good looking, making the yoyo look so much cooler, but its just me. a few players have asked me about this yoyo, asking if they get to try it, and i'm like, don't know, maybe? not very sure.
now guys, you see it, you'll get to try it, for sure.
the Regulus comes in 4 anodised color, Blue, Red, Purple and Black like the one I got.
Regulus is an undersized yoyo, comes with a flat size C bearing, with silicone o-ring response.
has a shape similar to most yoyo now adays,  with a slight step wall.
when I first took it out from the box, it felt heavy at first for its size at 66g.
after a few throws it begin to feel normal.
i think the stainless steel weight rings contribute to the feel of it.
i like the simple font engravement on the weight rings, makes it look classy,
photo on top, the biggest image.
I like how it look, it look huge in pictures, but so much smaller in person, the star looks great in the hub. slick black anodize, good feel in the palm.
the bearing comes cleaned, the yoyo has a powerful spin, but, it doesn't spin long, could be due to the response, Jazz-Yo mentioned most people would prefer to use flowable silicone for response. maybe it'll spin longer after the o-ring breaks in.
its very stable, very solid feel. doesn't tilt for me when play, no vibe on finger test.
i manage to play fast with it. like usual, i don't actually play horizontal style, so i'm not sure if it can handle it.
grinds good, i'm not one with fancy grind tricks but it grinds.
can handle all tricks i threw at it, flops, just normal one, lacerations, whips,
however, i couldn't complete my longer combo, like i mentioned earlier, it could be due to the stock response. but i have to mention again that the spin was indeed powerful,
its definitely got nothing to do with the flat bearing, its not lubed.
BUT, don't worry, the promo video will be film with the yoyo using the stock response, by then the o-ring should be broken in, and you'll see how it performs with broken in stock response. IF i have to change the response, i'll mention it in the promo video!
alright...
i have to say this yoyo doesn't feel like any yoyo thats produced in China, like the Aodas and Auldeys. in fact, I'll say it feels like a yoyo produced in the U.S. but its just me... again.

do ask to try out this yoyo at meetings, guys.
