some thoughts, some thanks and something romantic.

Hey guys, this is your friendly neighbourhood A**hole (Cheng).

Putting this event together, honestly was no easy task. There was a definite night i think something like 3 nights before the contest when i really felt like just throwing it all aside and go to sleep. I was working for the 3rd straight night on the design for the Performance Special Mention. Registration forms and paperwork was not done. Gameday jobs were not assigned well. Relay was kinda decided but the details were up in the air. My computer was slow. The Bed was tempting. I think it was at that exact moment when I promised myself never to organise a contest again. Too much work for too little returns, Impractical.

Now what I want you to do, is I want you to put it on a scale with the likes of SYYC and AP, You only start to get a slight picture of how much work the big bosses at spinworkx have been putting in year in and year out without fail. JUST Imagine and realise how much thanks you owe to how many amazing individuals who have built up spinworkx from scratch. So it is a little late but it is just 15 minutes ago that i realise WCC this year really is dedicated to the big bosses who have given us what we have today.

Syafiq just needed to say 1 line. "why don't we have like those relay" to create what i would say turned out to be the runaway highlight of the day. @sshole then decided to take part in it, and with his cool as steel shoulder pop pulled his team from behind Twice, and won it. He also showed us one of the most creative and entertaining team performances ever done. Thanks for kickin ass.

Hans. Being an emcee and a supporter is tough. It's easy to grab the mic and shout into it. But somehow I don't think it's appropriate for freestyle competition. Hans and Syafiq's freestyles today made me REALLY want to do it because I know if i shouted as loudly as they deserved my voice would go. And it did. Thanks for kickin ass.

Sui Kai thought of putting offstring passes and relays together. But more importantly, he made you guys eat chilli sauce. I mean. That's crazy right there. Makes the BBC and the Porter he has look tamed. Also made sure everyone got the right good prizes. Thanks for all the help and planning and then sleeping through WCC.

Caine did alot for you guys. You don't realise it. The medals. The songs. The prizes. All the work that sinks in between the main points and the details. He took care of that. It takes a special kind of person to run a error free song routine for the whole of the competition. Thanks!

Qingwen turned his black shoe brown just to make sure Cheng gets his documents and can work in Station lol. He is also the one making sure you look sweet on film so that 3 billion people who view your video on youtube won't laugh at your missed tricks. He also did alot else . I just can't remember. Honest la! Thanks for all the things i forgot! Sorry bout your shoes!!

Salina held down registration for everyone and made sure everyone was comfortable with their timings and the guys performing at serangoon got to freestyle too. She also trekked from somewhere to the middle of no man's muddy land a.k.a Paya Lebar Fire Station to pass me the work i need photostepped. Thanks for that!

Zhengting almost messed up the setting up of the competition because he was late when we met up. But we must all forgive him because he always forgives cheng for his nonexistant sense of punctuality.

Charles my utility man ran around all day making sure everything runs smoothly. so thanks for that.

Alex thanks for being yourself. That's all you need to be. I loved the table idea. I have a feeling it was decided on the spot but it still worked like a charm. Thanks!

Dimi came all the way from KL just to judge for your guys, You rock and you know it! Thanks for coming down and gracing us with your Heavyweight presence!

Through the recent nights working for this though, i thought to myself, the kids are going to make it a huge success that will make all the hardwork worth it, which fortunately Which you guys definitely did. So once again I'd like to thank every single one of you who turned up to support West coast Classic. Personally i felt it was an awesome success and, as cheesy as it's true, the event wouldn't work out without your presence, your heartfelt passion, your hours of practice and your cheers that made a barely quarter filled theatrette feel like a capacity crowd. So once again, my name is Cheng saying thanks for coming!
:-)
